1 Pe 2:1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice, of all deceit, hypocrisy and envy, and of all the ways there are of speaking against people;
1 Pe 2:2 and be like newborn babies, thirsty for the pure milk of the Word; so that by it, you may grow up into deliverance.
1 Pe 2:3 For you have tasted that Adonai is Good.
1Pe 2:4 as you come to him, he living stone, rejected by people but chosen by God and precious to him,
1 Pe 2:5 you yourselves, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be cohanim(priest) set apart for God to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to him through Yeshua the Messiah.
1 Pe 2:6 This is why the Tanakh (Old Testament) says, “Look! I am laying in Tziyon a stone, a chosen and precious cornerstone; and whoever rests his trust on it will certainly not be humiliated.”

"There are millions of people who call on the name of “Jesus”. However, are these people holy temples for Adonai? Is their foundation built on the Rock or are these people just following man’s religion? What does it mean to be a holy temple? Kefa (Peter) tells us here that through the pure milk of the Word of Adonai we can grow up into deliverance. In other words through His word not only will you get to know Him, but indeed He will come and live in you provided that you are built into a spiritual house set apart for Him. Yeshua Adonai never wanted religion (an institutionalized system of attitudes, beliefs, and practices). He wanted a relationship with His creation, provided that His creation wanted to live their life in a manner which is what He deems Kaddosh (holy). So what does it mean to be this living stone? These living stones, which had to be dug out from where they were and separated for Adonai’s purpose and that, had to be moved from a place that was unholy to a place that was dedicated for His purposes. This week learn what needs to be in us so that we can offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable for our God through Yeshua the Messiah?"
