In Memory of The Minister of Defense Reggie White

This is the journey that many of us are on, only we don't do it so alone and in the spotlight. He was a very brave and bold man that sought the Truth. He desired to worship in spirit and truth in obedience and love for Yahshua. Rest in peace Reggie White.

Building a Holy Temple

Messianic Rabbi Andrew Dinnerman of Beth Goyim.

274 Building a Holy Temple from Beth Goyim on Vimeo.

The above video and the following are from www.bethgoyim.org.

1 Pe 2:1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice, of all deceit, hypocrisy and envy, and of all the ways there are of speaking against people;
1 Pe 2:2 and be like newborn babies, thirsty for the pure milk of the Word; so that by it, you may grow up into deliverance.
1 Pe 2:3 For you have tasted that Adonai is Good.
1Pe 2:4 as you come to him, he living stone, rejected by people but chosen by God and precious to him,
1 Pe 2:5 you yourselves, as living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be cohanim(priest) set apart for God to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to him through Yeshua the Messiah.
1 Pe 2:6 This is why the Tanakh (Old Testament) says, “Look! I am laying in Tziyon a stone, a chosen and precious cornerstone; and whoever rests his trust on it will certainly not be humiliated.”

"There are millions of people who call on the name of “Jesus”. However, are these people holy temples for Adonai? Is their foundation built on the Rock or are these people just following man’s religion? What does it mean to be a holy temple? Kefa (Peter) tells us here that through the pure milk of the Word of Adonai we can grow up into deliverance. In other words through His word not only will you get to know Him, but indeed He will come and live in you provided that you are built into a spiritual house set apart for Him. Yeshua Adonai never wanted religion (an institutionalized system of attitudes, beliefs, and practices). He wanted a relationship with His creation, provided that His creation wanted to live their life in a manner which is what He deems Kaddosh (holy). So what does it mean to be this living stone? These living stones, which had to be dug out from where they were and separated for Adonai’s purpose and that, had to be moved from a place that was unholy to a place that was dedicated for His purposes. This week learn what needs to be in us so that we can offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable for our God through Yeshua the Messiah?"

What is Shavuot?

I am pretty new to all this in a sense. The Lord began dealing with me about the Torah (His instructions) many years ago in my studies. However, the Feasts of the Lord I was very ignorant of and I kind of skipped over those parts for the most part, not understanding the significance of them. At this point I feel like I have been missing a lot because these Feasts of the Lord, His appointed times, are so rich and so faith affirming, not to mention an incredible blessing to be a part of! Please notice that I said "The Feasts of the Lord", because that is what they are, not the Jewish feasts, they are His Feasts and He welcomes all. This is important to understand. So as I learn, in this new season, if you are game, I will take you on a journey of wonderful discovery with me.

At this point, in early April 2010, we have just celebrated Passover, the Feast of Unleven Bread and First Fruits. I will go back and explain those to you another time, but you need to know that as a Christian or believer in Yahshua Messiah, these Spring Feasts do have significance to you and were and are pivotal in pointing to coming of our Messiah, his earthly ministry, death, burial and resurrection and this is found all through the Torah, the Writings and the Prophets. Passover is of particular importance! It isn't just a story of some folks getting out of Egypt after surviving a bunch of plagues. There is a lot more to it...and it involves you. Don't worry, I will cover that soon.

So after Passover we begin to count the Omer. What is the Omer you might ask? The Omer is a sacrifice containing an omer-measure of barley. On the day after the Sabbath during the week of the Festival of Unleavened Bread—the day on which the first fruits of the barley were harvested and offered up in the Temple—we are commanded to begin a countdown to the next festival. This can be very confusing unless you understand that our calendar is very different from our Creator's calendar. The new moon would indicate the beginning of a new month and the readiness of the barley or Aviv barley indicates the beginning of a new year or the first month of the year, Abib. Technically, we are in the beginning of the year on Yahweh's calendar. In our man made system we celebrated New years Day on January 1st using pagan names for all the months and days of the weeks. The days, the months and the years were measured very differently in history prior to the age we are living in currently, in Hebrew culture and by our Adoani. Anyway, another topic for another time, back to Shavuot.

So from the day of First Fruits we are told to count forty-nine days, and upon their completion, the fiftieth day is the appointed time of the Festival of Pentecost or Shavuot in Hebrew. Pentecost is from the Greek equivalent of fiftieth day. Shavuot means "weeks". Shavuot is a harvest festival. Just as the week of Unleavened Bread celebrates the ripening of the barley crop, in a similar way, Shavuot celebrates the ripening of the wheat crop. But there is so much more!

You might be familiar with the word "Pentecost". You probably remember Pentecost in the Brit Chadasha or as you might call it the New Testament. During Pentecost the Ruach ha Kodesh or the Holy Spirit, that Yahshua promised, came upon the believers assembled that day!

Acts 1
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come , they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting . 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance . 5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together , and were confounded , because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled , saying one to another , Behold , are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born ? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome , Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. 12 And they were all amazed , and were in doubt , saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said , These men are full of new wine. 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken , as ye suppose , seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy , and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!! I never tire of reading that. What I didn't know and most believers may not realize is that wasn't the first Pentecost or Shavuot. The first Shavuot or Pentecost signs and wonders accompanied the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. Here is the accounting of that day.

Exodus 19:1
In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai. 2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount. 3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying , Thus shalt thou say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel; 4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself. 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed , and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel. 7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him. 8 And all the people answered together, and said , All that the LORD hath spoken we will do . And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD. 9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD. 10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes, 11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai. 12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying , Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death : 13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned , or shot through ; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live : when the trumpet soundeth long , they shall come up to the mount. 14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes. 15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives. And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

Does that sound familiar?? In Exodus 20 Adonai gives the people the Torah. And the command to remember this day is found in Leviticus 23:10-17.

The Torah is the Word, Yahshua is the Word(John 1:1) and believers were given the Torah to be the conduit for all to know Adonai (Exodus 19-20). In addition, during Pentecost, in the book of Acts (Acts 2), believers had been given Yahshua or the Word to be a conduit for all to know Adonai and the Helper or the Ruach ha Kodesh (The Holy Spirit) to accomplish this and much more. This happened during Shavuot! Do you see the parallel and significance of this? It is pretty important, but how many times do believers read the account in Acts and forget about or are unknowing of Shavuot, the first Pentecost.

I hope this helps you understand why Shavuot is an important Feast of the Lord to remember. Please keep in mind, some of what people do on Shavuot is tradition and some are instructions from the Lord. I prefer instructions over tradition, personally. Please feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer or find the answer.

Debunking Replacement Theology

This is incredibly crucial information. Bishop Dominiquae Bierman.

Enemies of God

**WARNING**
ONLY watch this if you have a desire for your flesh to die. Seriously, she does not hold back and puts to shame the feel good "gospel" the modern church is preaching. This is hard hitting, but very good. Selfishness is the disease, the Word of Yahweh is the cure!

The Eternal Gospel- Bishop Dominiquae Bierman

The following is a very good and challenging teaching from Bishop Dominiquae Bierman. It is heavy duty gospel. She says it like it is and I think it is very timely. There is a commercial at the end of each one and once you have seen it you might want to skip to the next video....unless you like watching the commercial over and over again. It is a very nice commercial. :) Blessing be upon you!!
